A college town as much as a music town
Nashville is home to Vanderbilt, Belmont, Lipscomb, Trevecca and more, and thousands of students who are far from home for the first time. Joe works with college students on anxiety, depression, homesickness, relationships, purpose and life after college sports.
Young professionals starting over
Many people in their early 20s move to Nashville for a first job and find it harder than expected to build friendships, find a church and feel settled. Joe helps young adults steady themselves and build a life here.
Teens across Davidson County
Joe also works with middle and high school students throughout Nashville, from Green Hills and Belle Meade to East Nashville and Sylvan Park, on anxiety, depression, self-harm, school pressure and sports performance.
Joe works with students from public and private high schools across Nashville and with college students at Vanderbilt, Belmont, Lipscomb and Trevecca.
How Joe helps Nashville families

Joe brings more than 20 years of experience, a decade as a psychology professor, 15 years in youth ministry and work with NFL, NCAA and professional athletes.
Questions from Nashville parents
Can college students see you without their parents involved?
Yes. Clients 18 and older manage their own care. With written permission, Joe can include parents in updates.
Do you only work with Christians?
No. Joe is a faith-based therapist and many families choose him for that, but he works with young adults of every background.
